Why Do I Need RSA and RSG Certificates?

Aside from state law compliance, holding certificates in Responsible Service of Alcohol and Gaming (RSA-RSG) will ensure that an individual working in the hospitality and gaming industries can serve their clients in a conscientious manner.

Responsible Service of Alcohol QLD

You must fulfil the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training if you wish to work in Australia serving or selling alcohol. You will obtain an RSA certificate once you have completed the course. RSA training (responsible service of alcohol) is a type of instruction given to servers and dealers of alcohol to minimize drunkenness, drunk driving, and underage drinking. Each state has their own mandates, and obtaining an RSA Certificate QLD will allow you to work in the related industries across Queensland.

Responsible Service of Gaming

In most Australian states, having a responsible service of gaming certificate is necessary by law to work in a gambling-related role. An RSG is required to work in this profession, and one of the obligations of gambling venues is to ensure that their personnel are certified. A person who provides gaming services to another is in a position to recognize if that person has a gambling problem.
