Axial’s MEM31322 Certificate III in Engineering Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification provides the knowledge and skills for an apprentice to install, repair and service refrigeration and air conditioning systems. the work includes design, assembly & installation modification, fault finding, commissioning, maintenance and repair of compressors, chiller units, blower unit fan systems, electrical / electronic control units, air balance units, refrigeration recharge units, high and low pressure vacuum pumps and duct work sections.
It also includes the fabrication of pipes and component fitting, and working with electrical/electronics circuits and refrigerant gasses. Successful completion of this qualification will allow you to become a trade-qualified refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic. You will also be able to apply for your Restricted Electrical Licence and full Refrigerant Handling Licence.

This accredited qualification is delivered as an Australian Apprenticeship.
