Funding and Payment Options

There are a range of payment options, concessions, and scholarships you may be eligible for to assist you with the cost of your study. You may also be eligible for an Axial Training payment plan to help you pay your course fees over the duration of your study period.

What financial assistance is available?

Concessions

Fee concessions may apply to government funded courses or units of study for eligible students.  You can find details on the concessions and eligibility criteria below.

Subsidised training

Eligible students may be able to access a range of government funding to help subsidise the cost of training.

Certificate 3 Guarantee

The Certificate 3 Guarantee program, funded by the Queensland Government, supports eligible individuals to complete their first post-school certificate III qualification. You may be eligible to receive a subsidy towards one certificate III qualification from a list of subsidised courses. Visit the Department of Youth Justice, Employment, Small Business and Training website to see which qualifications are subsidised under the Certificate 3 Guarantee program.

Axial's Certificate 3 Guarantee Co-Contribution Fees:


The Concession fee noted above is for individuals who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Hold a valid Health Care Card or Pension Concession Card issued by either Centrelink or the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
  • Be a partner or dependent of someone holding a valid Concession Card.
  • Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.

Higher Level Skills

The Higher Level Skills program, funded by the Queensland Government, provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals to access subsidised training in selected certificate IV and above qualifications, or priority skill sets. You may be eligible to receive a subsidy towards one certificate IV or higher qualification from a list of subsidised courses. Visit the Department of Youth Justice, Employment, Small Business and Training website to see which qualifications and skill sets are subsidised under the Higher Level Skills program.

Fee for Service

Students studying under a Fee for Service arrangement will be invoiced according to the quote provided at the time of enrolment into their course. This will consist of an initial invoice for a non-refundable Enrolment Fee, with the balance of fees owing invoiced quarterly over the full term of the course.
Invoices are payable within 14 days of the date of issue.

Axial International Courses

Students commencing study with Axial International College will receive a Letter of Offer (LOO) prior to commencement. The LOO will outline the full cost of your course with Axial.

On acceptance and signing of the LOO, an invoice will be issued to you for either;

  1. the full cost of the course payable upfront, (a 5% discount applies to this option) or;
  2. an invoice for the fees payable for the first Term of your course. Subsequent Terms will be invoiced and payable prior to the commencement of each Term.

Axial International students may also be eligible for an Axial approved payment plan or scholarship for up to $5000 to assist with payment of fees.
