This course is for those employed as an apprentice in the manufacturing, engineering and related industry areas. Apprentices will acquire skills and knowledge in workplace communication, workplace health and safety, quality procedures systems and planning, engineering measurement, computations and computer technology. Industry-specific skills in welding and boiler making that are relevant to either current or intended employment will also be taught.
