Marketing and Advertising Disclaimer Policy
This policy outlines Axial Training’s commitment to ensure all marketing and advertising activities comply fully with Standard 4 of the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). It aims to provide truthful, ethical, and transparent information to prospective and enrolled students, employers, and other stakeholders.
Scope
This policy applies to all marketing and advertising materials produced or authorised by Axial Training, including but not limited to websites, social media, print materials, digital advertisements, email campaigns, and third-party promotions conducted on our behalf.
Policy Statement
1. Compliance with Regulatory Standards Axial Training adheres to the requirements set out in the Standards for RTOs 2025, specifically Standard 4, which governs marketing and advertising conduct. All promotional activities must:
● Accurately represent the training and assessment services provided.
● Include the official RTO registration code in all material.
● Clearly specify the title and code of any training products using the details from the National Register (training.gov.au).
● Disclose all fees, charges, payment terms, and refund policies associated with courses and services.
● Inform prospective students of their rights and obligations, including complaints and appeals processes.
● Present clear information about any funding, scholarships, or financial assistance available, including repayment conditions if applicable.
2. Truthful and Non-Misleading Information
● All marketing communications shall be truthful, accurate, and not misleading or deceptive.
● Promotions must not exaggerate the nature or scope of training products or outcomes.
● Claims must be substantiated, particularly those related to employment outcomes, course content, or industry recognition.
3. Use of Business Name and Branding
● All marketing materials must be issued under Axial Training’s registered business name and must not use the name or branding of third parties unless explicitly authorised.
● The use of the nationally recognised training (NRT) logo must comply with ASQA’s conditions of use.
4. Third-Party Advertisements
● Where third parties conduct advertising or marketing on Axial’s behalf, all materials must clearly state that Axial Training is the registered training provider responsible for the courses offered.
● Axial retains full responsibility for ensuring these third-party materials comply with this policy and relevant standards.
5. Approval Process
● All marketing and advertising materials, including website content and social media posts, must be reviewed and approved by Axial’s designated Marketing Manager or delegate prior to publication or distribution.
● Any endorsements or testimonials used in marketing require documented consent from the parties involved.
6. Continuous Review and Update
● Marketing content shall be regularly reviewed to ensure current and compliance with changing standards, legislation, and industry practices.
● Outdated or inaccurate material must be promptly corrected or removed.
Responsibilities
● Marketing Team: Develops compliant marketing materials and ensures all communications meet this policy and regulatory requirements.
● Compliance Officer: Monitors adherence to marketing standards and liaises with regulatory bodies as needed.
● Staff and Contractors: Must comply with this policy and report any concerns regarding non-compliant marketing practices.

Review Schedule
